Ihaven't been using this thing for a while now, and looking at my past journal entries... Oh God hahahah

Well, I was younger then, I didn't know much about the things I was going through and being angry and sad was my way of handling them I guess. I couldn't understand, and I tried to make sense of everything and put them in words, and they were the fruits of my efforts.

But much time has passed and a hell of a lot of things have happened, and I can say that I've changed. Not just physically (just turned 18). I'd rather not list everything significant that happened while I was last here, but be sure that the girl who wrote those angsty and frankly depressing journal entries had changed. I don't focus on the bad side of things, instead, I look for the silver linings in everything that happens. I may not always like what happens to me but the bright side of things could help me move on faster, and when I look back, I'm always reminded of my motto that everything happens for a reason.

The past is past and no amount of creying and worrying over them could change that. Yeah, there are some things I would've rather done or didn't, but what matters is I learn from my mistakes and learn to take risks.

Life is too short to be with negativity, so instead, I stick to the things that make me happy. I try not to take what people think of me personally because the way I see it, I wasn't born into this world to measure up to their standards.

I always thank God for everything. These all come from Him and through sunny skies and stormy weathers, He's always there guiding me. And that's enough.
